Do your research now and develop a strategic plan to engage your elected officials in the new congress!
YWCA USA strongly opposes the Department of Education’s proposed changes to Title IX regulations, which would drastically alter how schools respond to sexual harassment and assault. The Proposed Rules would encourage, and even require, schools to ignore students who come forward about sexual assault and sexual harassment to ask for help. If implemented, this attack on Title IX would make schools more dangerous for all students, especially those most marginalized who already face immense barriers to safety on campus.
